We eat so little "junk food" these days it makes its exit nearly as quickly as it enters. I used to eat heaps of it, but as I get older I find I can't eat it and stay trim. It is such a shock to the system when we do eat it both our bodies rebel.

I just plain don't like most of it. McDonalds/Burger King/Wendies/Taco Bell are all so greasy and salty. Occasionally we'll get an In/Out burger as the quality of them seem a bit higher, but that's maybe once a month or every other month.

And I suppose Chinese food could be considered junk food but it's not that junky, and then there's pizza. We'll get a pizza a month on average usually on a weekend day where we have worked around the house all day and just got plain tired.

I'm being laid off. After 29 years with the same company, they're kicking me out the door.

Are you vested in any kind of retirement system?

This happened not more than 100 yards from the entrance to our railroad museum...

Yep. I haven't checked to see how much I have in that bank, yet, though.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Hello Harm.

Another day off here :( Got up to take a shower and nearly passed out in the tub. Definitely do not have the energy to go to work. If I just sat at a desk, maybe. But on my feet, driving, lifting, etc would not go well.

Get better Mel. Couple days off and you'll be good as new.
