I have all of my school notes on my laptop and would love to have them in a more portable, yet readable, form. I don't want to print everything since they are laden with colour diagrams and pictures. Must have WIFI capabilities. Qu. . . Permagrin wrote in post #16026179 lots of tablets support cloud office options (like "cloudon" app) or Quick office pro HD app or documents to go app both do microsoft word and powerpoint. (for android) I use the ipad & I believe (though I'm not sure because I've never tried) that the apple apps (pages, keynote & numbers) will open microsoft documents. This, on Quick Office. The Android devices often include Quick Office (light), which can read, but not edit MS Office docs. Pro adds editing, for a price. Jon

Wiener = mustard, onion, cucumber, jalapeno, celery salt, tomato. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Do any of them control lesser models wirelessly? (one of the things I loved about my nikon flashes...no pocketwizards). .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS

I haven't kept up on the latest and greatest but i know that the 7D will remotely control flashes using the on-board. Not ETTL though. Not sure about the new EX600 and the latest bodies though. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Jun 13, 2013 12:23 | #6958 well, with the EX600s out, you can easily get a decent used 480 or 580EX now, for a bargain price.

I just looked it up and it does control other flashes and it looks to be very effective. I'm not sure if it only controls other 600ex's or if it can control the previous models...but that is promising. .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS
