Zeiss vs Sigma, which would you take, Omar?

Sigma due to AF and cost.

You're welcome - it is the next lens in my wish list.

But with a whole kitchen revamp, there is no money to spare :(

Well, lets see the examples of your work, Lisa :D

I only have a couple of snapshots of a goofy dog and a grumpy cat! LOL I just got it today. I have the 50 too and I have to say that there is absolutely no comparison. Build, IQ etc...much nicer in the 35.

Very nice :)

There is only one 35 in my book now....

and that is it! Congrats Permi! Have had mine since before thanksgiving and what a winner! Has some serious micro-contrast to it. Similar to Zeiss.

I used to have the zeiss 100 and I currently have a zeiss Jena 135. It's almost heresy to say that the lens is as nice...but it certainly might be. I'll have to do a lot more testing. lol Zeiss just has that everything (color rendition, bokeh, sharpness...) it'll be interesting to see if the sigma can even give it a run for it's money.

Nice

Been a while since last posting here. Just the usual happening, busy work and family life. Aaron has a school semi-formal tonight, I suppose you guys would call it the prom. I'll be snapping away some more tonight.

Dusted off the camera today and hunted some bees in the Lemon tree in the back yard.

Thanks Permie, I've not been taking a lot. Been mostly following Aaron around each weekend with sport. So far this year we've going from Volleyball to Soccer to Volleyball and now Basketball.

I figured it would be a matter of time until someone took umbrage:

I was going to respond in that thread "and just a matter of time before someone got their knickers in a twist over it".

But I decided to not bother.:lol:

Nice to see you around here again, Lisa! Glad you and the hubby got some new toys!:D

It's amazing that they can get crickets to play any team sport. Simply amazing.

I hit a unicorn on the way to work this morning. I'm bitter because I forgot my camera, the carcass was quickly dragged off by wild jackelopes so I couldn't return for the horn. It's going to be one of those days, I can just feel it ...

Almost as realistic: https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1321959

Folks are getting around to talking about cleaning sensors with scuba tanks.

By the way, Chet... how much dammage to the car? Those unicorns are sturdy critters.

Surprisingly it was mostly fluff with a chewy center. The rojo car can take a beat down too, it's a survivor.

You must've run into one of the "My Little Pony," ilk.

I was screwing with a wood nymph once, and this huge unicorn came up from behind and kicked my ass severely.
