hi, there was some interest in my way of working so just a quick run throught.
im NOT a good photographer so what i do probably isnt anything to go by, the modal was shot in a bath wearing frilly clothes and water was applied, the photo was taken behind a shower screen giving that swirly white stuff at the front.
I took the picture through the kit lens, cant remember the settings, i mostly use auto and bounced the 420ex flash off a wall, bathroom is tiled so light bounces around lovingly. This is bad but the way i work, i cant be too gentle with my gear, i could have realy expensives lenses, i'd be afraid of getting them wet and things like that, my lens is FILTHY full of dust and fingerprints - which i like, i also shoot through a cheap wide angle adapter for my sony W1 which is in even a worse state which adds even more muck, so the raw image is something along the lines of the image attached (hopefully) I then layer bits of scanned things ontop to get different lightings and colours, do a bit of dodging and burning, sometimes i like to oversharpen with a REALY big radious which seems to blur and bring out some nice colours, then mess with the opacity of that layer to show through some underneath layers
Hope this helps and ive made sence and not rambled too much
