This was taken some time ago on 35mm. I scanned it to crop it a bit. It was taken at a church in England. The bride had just got out of her car heading for the church. Her big brother moved in with a quiet word just before she entered the church to be married.
What do you think?

Did you scan the negative or the print?

Now seeing it live there is too much grain particularly in the brothers face. Does it detract too much? I just love the way the light falls on the bride

I think this was a well captured moment in time that should be cherished. :D I'm guessing She has seen this?

Scanned the print. I took the photo and gave the photos and negs to the bride and groom. 5 years later they have lost them and worst still have never got any reprints for their parents. I am doing a digital album for them but not too sure if it will be worth the effort

Wow, I absolutely hate scanning pictures because it takes so long. But a digital album is always fun. I do like the the capture of that last moment together, without a man between them. ;)

I recently bought a 100' bulk roll of 400 ISO B&W TMAX film and when I scan the negatives, I notice the grain in them. Unless you go with about 100 speed or so, it's going to be there. As far as the picture you have, I'd say deliver it. It's all they've got apparently, so they can't fuss. It's their own fault they loss the negs. I don't think they have too much grain in them though.
