52 week photo thread.

Been waiting on someone to start one but no one has done it yet. So, I guess I will. Anyone that wants to join by all means please feel free to do so.

From an end comes a new beginning. Used some of the photos from my 365 to start the 52 weeker.

Week #1

I was thinking about doing one this year as I don't think I could handle a 365 project. Are you doing the 52 by set topics each week or just random. I can't decide either way yet

I say pick one topic for the entire year.

I never even thought of that option! That sounds like the way to go. Just need to choose the topic now

Yahoo! I'll be shooting several times a week, but I'll just choose my favourite for this thread (and project - time to make a new set on Flickr!). Excited

And you would wind up with a really large body of work.

No rules. It is very loose. Just keep it clean. I will not be doing a theme as some just do not have time to set up a shot or the things to do a theme with. So, it is just random.


If that is ok with everyone. If not it can be changed. I just wanted to get the ball rolling


If a theme is the way you want to go, by all means do so. It is your thread just like doing a 365.

You can post as many as you want. you are responsible for at least one per week.

I'm going to try shoot more wildlife/landscapes this year as if my "photography plate" isn't already full

Ok I have decided on a 52 week self portrait project (Not very original and makes me seem vane ). I was also thinking of doing a 52 week landscape project at the same time to force me to get out more and find the time for my hobby. I'll post in this thread as I go.

I don't think that's vain ... I have a hard time posting pictures of myself. So it would be a challenge for me and others have suggested it! Go for it
