Congratulations to everyone that made it through.

I failed my mission on 365 in 2015, so I will take a more sedate route this year with a 52. Here is my first submission.

Attempt #3 for me. Recent surgery has me home for the next 2 months while my back heals. I really wanna make this work this time! Going to use my Sony a7rII only.

Well made it through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my Birthday (Thursday) and New Years without any big bummers. Year was shaped up to be a good one. Wedding Anniversary tomorrow so got plans for that. Then about two hours ago it happened. Passing of a very close family member. Bummer. What a way to start 2016.

So I knew I needed to do my 52 shot and this is all I could come up with tonight. Not certain if there will be another as this was my fourth year. One 365 and this my third 52......We will see.

So for now, here is saying

First off happy birthday and congrats on finishing. Really sorry to hear about your loss though. I know these projects can be a drain, this is also my 3rd in a row but hopefully your back in it again for this year as I enjoy your photos. You could even start it out of sync once you feel ready enough.

First, Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary. I'm sorry for your loss, as well, and I believe the good things outweigh the bad.
I wish I had your commitment. A 365 and 3 52's is an amazing accomplishment. You probably know this better than anyone.
You've been the driving force of this thread, and I hope you pop in to critique, comment and maybe, when the time is right, go for the 4th.

I struggle with the decision every year. Not because of the time as I take photos almost every single day anyway. But can I come up with something different or to challenge myself? Low and behold, Something showed on the doorstep today. I am a member of the nifty fifty thread here on the forums. And as luck would have it, the 50mm showed up. If only I could keep it for the whole year, I would do a nifty fifty , 52
