What model of Sirui is it? Looks nice
It's the T-025x. It's really light and only about 900g so really easy to carry everywhere!
You thinking of getting one?

You thinking of getting one? I think I actually had one briefly now that you have reminded me of the model number! I sold the Siriu and bought a Feisol 3442 for travel and then bought a induro ct313 for everything else which is heavy at 2.2kg but I love it as it’s rock solid. I ended up selling my Feisol as I just take the induro everywhere. I’m planning ahead to a trip to Japan next April though and I won’t be taking the induro so trying to decide between no tripod, a travel tripod or a monopod. Undecided at the moment but plenty of time to decide Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

My main tripod is a manfrotto 055XproB which is about 3.3kg and I find I barely use it when i travel because it's too large and heavy to take out. I would go for the travel tripod if I was you, some of them can even be used as a monopod! If there are occasions that you think a monopod will be needed monopod/tripod combos seem to be the best option.I also think of a travel tripod myself, couldn't decide and don't have that much use for now. Enjoy your trip btw, I always hear that Japan is a nice place to visit but never had the chance to go there yet. If you do end up getting one this Sirui is really stable and really well priced considering how expensive most carbon fiber tripods are! xpfloyd wrote in post #18599867 i can’t even remember why I sold it I just remember not having it long. PhotosByDlee Cream of the Crop More info | Thanks Mark! In reply to Flickr, it wasn't so much the ISO that was the issue, it was that I was using a 6 stop ND filter. I was in such a rush to get as many shots around the area as I could that I underexposed this shot and had quite a bit of noise.
