Wk 49 -- Solar Activity -- I've been looking for sun spots for awhile now and it appears the sun is starting to act up. Just a quick snap with my SX50 and a solar filter.

Thanks. It helps to have a B&W dog on a B&W pad. :-D

I took the shot in color, but the only color in the shot was her pink collar. I fixed that in post.

This was a test shot with my new Sony 200-600 at 259mm focal length handheld. Its a big beast of a lens, but the stabilization is amazing.

We took photos without the chickens and then a few with them. These turned out better. They just got the chickens this summer. Fun to watch.
