Morning mist from the coastal marine layer helps too. It's been cooler than normal, in fact our average temperatures for May were lower than Seattle, Washington.

It's a border for a Bocce ball court. 6" x 6" reclaimed redwood from trees that burned in a wild fire 2 years ago. The drilled holes are for dowels that will hold the pieces together. The Bocce court border is 52' x 11' Some of the shorter pieces will become steps on a slope in the garden.

Jun 17, 2023 23:24 | #3404 Camped here last night and tried to capture a time lapse of the Milky Way. Batteries failed early on and I needed a longer exposure but it was a good learning experience and we got away from people.
