Hi all, be interested in some feedback on this small series - critique, processing tips etc. First time I've had a serious crack at this sort of stuff. All taken on New Years Day evening at a place called Kingston-on Murray, South Australia.
1. Canon 7D, Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm, f4, ISO3200, 30 seconds, tripod.

They all look good, #1 is my favorite. Seems as though you had a pretty dark location.

Both are very nice. I tend to like #3 just a little bit better. The combination of dead trees and a few live ones on the right-hand side all silhouetted against the stars is very pleasing!

Thanks fellas. Probably should have swapped them around as #2 was the first one taken. The faint glow in this image is from a town called Bamera. The moon rose much further to the right hence #1 image I moved to another location with the intention of getting the glow on the dead trees.

Thanks Stephen. Love the region. Lived at Moorook (at Yatco) for 2 years about ten years back. Would move back at the drop of a hat if employment prospects were good!

It's a nice part of the world isn't it. My mum is from Moorook and my grandparents lived there for many years, so I have great memories of the place! Nothing like freshly caught Moorook yabbies at Christmas!

Cheers,
Stephen
