First off this is my first SLR camera and I have spent a fair amount of time reading the instruction booklet.

I’ll also confess to playing with most of the cameras functions but not with any great knowledge.

My question is according to the instruction booklet all 9 AF red dots should be a light in full Automatic mode….. See page 67.

And this was the case up until my fingers flew all over it touching things like some naughty school boy.

Can someone point me in the right direction, and not to the door…… thanks

Regards

Peter from New Zealand

Press the button on the top ritght of the back of the camera, just to the right of the star button. Next rotate the wheel on the top of the camera until the top LCD shows all AF points highlighted. Then hit that button again.

Stick it in P mode, or any other mode in the creative zone (Av, Tv, M). I use Av most of the time.
