Say if I want to shoot a series of picture with the same setting to create panoramic? I have changed my focus to the back top button, now how do I lock all my setting? can any of you point me the way please? thanks.

You will have to use manual settings for shutter speed and aperture to keep the exposure cobstant throughout all the images which make up the panorama.

as was suggest, either shoot all in manual to find your exposure. of if youre not good at that, shoot ones in P mode, look at the info, and set ur settings to those in M mode. also, use a specific white balance, not auto
