What if I threw some cross-country skiing or big hill, Olympic style ski jumping into the mix?

Aressem, you 4th shot is awesome. I love how the snow is so caked on to the tree that it is spiraling downwards and frames the skier

Yeah just bare flash. I want to talk to the local hill (yes, hill...with just over 200 vertical feet) about doing a sunrise session. I was just learning about how to do those kind of shot last year and I think I could do much better now.

Whenever I go out west to ski, it has been with my family, so not really the best of situations for getting awesome shots lol.

That was just a 580 EXII...I love that flash.

Just got my 580 in the mail a couple of days ago. Today my boss let me borrow some cheap-o promaster triggers. Unfortunately I had to shoot with my backup body (t2i) because my 5d2 stopped working yesterday. This was my first time ever shooting with an off camera flash. I snapped a few pics at home to make sure the setup worked and then headed over to this rail jam that I heard about last minute.
