I have heard lot about Aperture and I'd like to try it but I don't have a mac. Is there a version for PCs or any mean to run it on a PC, such as mac emulators or so ?

For all intensive purposes, CS2 is the PC version of Aperture. I can't think of anything that CS2 wouldn't do.

stacks, quick and easy rating, metadata, smart albums, non-destructive raw manipulation, plus a few other features - all to decrease the workflow process and *then* go to CS2 when needed.

there is no way to run it on PC (or on many Macs, for that matter, due to the steep system reqs...).
Adobe will preview LightRoom at MacWorld next week which should be similar and will eventually be on PC.
