Oh my gosh, I'm in loooooove.... I never understood it when people talked about the cheap plastic-y feel of the kit lens until now. My long coveted 50mm f1.4 came today and it just feel so solid! I have soooo much to learn about this lens, like what the heck is that dial on it for? I haven't even opened up the manual for it, just put it on the camera and started taking pics of the kids. Holy crap, I'm going to have to learn about DOF big time now!

Anyways, here's my two rug rats. They had been eating a bit of chocolate and watching Finding Nemo. :rolleyes: What a life, huh?

Congrat on aquiring a great lens. Mine has not left my camera since it arrived the first of December. It and my 85mm are my favorites.
