One of my favorite things about late autumn /early winter is watching the surroundings in the State Parks. I love to watch the wildlife prepare for the winter. At the base of this tree a family of beavers has set up a dam. There are now several new ones I have noticed the last couple of days but have not yet had the chance to shoot.
