Jan 05, 2013 09:54 | #7 Yes some of them do look soft, I think the biggest contributor to that is at the beginning of the game when they announce starting lineups they pump a bunch of fog into the rink, and it takes at least the whole first period to get it to clear out, if not longer. However, I have not checked my micro adjustment for my new 70-200, so I will have to do that as well. / 7D Gripped / 7D Gripped / 5D Mark II / 70-200L IS I 2.8 / 24-70L / 100L 2.8 IS Macro / Sigma 120-300 OS / 50 1.4 / 85 1.8 / 17-55 2.8 IS / 580exII / 1.4x II /

I don't have an EXIF viewer so perhaps share what your basic setting are and what AF settings you are using. Please Check Out My Work at:

Jan 21, 2013 13:41 | #10 sorry haven't checked this in a while. I believe they were all shot at 1/640 f2.8 iso2500. they were with the 1d3. I usually like to use the 7D for hockey because its easier to tell how sharp the images are on the better screen it has, but I didn't have it with me this time. I use the * button for focus, AI servo, center point, tracking priority. / 7D Gripped / 7D Gripped / 5D Mark II / 70-200L IS I 2.8 / 24-70L / 100L 2.8 IS Macro / Sigma 120-300 OS / 50 1.4 / 85 1.8 / 17-55 2.8 IS / 580exII / 1.4x II /
