Hi,

I want to make a print of a shot I took while staying with some people here in Jackson as a thank-you for letting me stay with them for free and I was wondering what the best place in the US is to get a 20x30 (or bigger depending on price) printed. It doesn't have to be super-high quality, just a nice print, nothing too special.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

PS: I'm no Costco member.

Mpix will do up to a 24x36. BayPhoto will do a 30x60 (or 90, or 120).

adoramapix will do a 24x36 at a good price. I've had many done there, even from an old 30D, and have not had a single client complaint.

Thanks, Tony...I'm well familiar with Costco. They were my go-to print source before I bought my 3880. Problem is, I may need larger than their max size (20x30), like 24x24 or 24x36. I may also have a need to print one or more "mature" images...Costco's a family place, and their printers are out in the open. Not sure I could trust them to handle it in a professional manner. But for 20x30 and below, they're a great option!

The 2 Staples in Windsor pump 24" and 33 or 34". The subject matter would be of concern, though.

I don't think the Staples here in the US offer those kind of services...

Ah, so you are looking to print "NSFW" photos! That's a different question! It sounds like you should develop a "relationship" with a local provider, or maybe an online provider that "provides" that type of print?

As to people in the Portland area, well, PM me and maybe I can come up with suggestions, maybe not...

Not really NSFW, just looking for some discretion...

AdoramaPix is the best for the price in my opinion. A lot of times they run sales, too.

I've been using ProDPI for a while now with excellent results. I've done plenty of 30x50's and don't have a single complaint. One even came slightly damaged (UPS's fault) and they sent me a new one without hesitation, and even sent it over-night. Costco also does nice prints but I specifically wanted Fuji Pearlescent paper which Costco doesn't offer.
