I just started uploading photos on the web, but i noticed a HUGE loss of details in the final image. I read a few tutorials but i dont get what i'm doing wrong.

I tried a few ways to do it. On 500px as suggested by the site i kept the files with the original resolution and on photoshop i went on "save for web" using 100% quality and convert to sRGB.

Here are the results:

To try resizing the picture before uploading, with the previous mentioned site dimensions, 900px on the longest size, i resized it on PS as 1800px then sharpened with 0,3 radius and 150% then resized as 900px and resharpened with 0,1 and 100%. I saved it with "save for web" and 100% quality. After uploading it the result was even worst. The version attached here is the same but with 85% quality to fit forum's attachments size restriction.

Any advice on how to upload photos properly? Am i doing something wrong? Thanks in advance :)

Your 3rd image looks OK compared to the others, but...

On 500px as suggested by the site i kept the files with the original resolution

I don't know what your problem is, except unless you plan on printing from the site, I wouldn't do that, because the site will resize your image for the web. I always resize & sharpen the images that I post here to the size that I want them to display at.
