I have needed my camera at work the past couple of days, so I decided to take advantage and reshoot the skyline from a location close to work.

Both shots are amazing, I really like them very much, specially the second one. Lovely light, tones and details. Perfect long exposure and light trails. Thanks for sharing!

Nice work. There's something I love about the I-5 and how it seems to run directly into the middle of the city. So elegant yet so simple.

Second works best for me but only because the FG in the first, dark greens detract from the scene as does the crane in the BG...I'd go for a pano crop, loose the bottom 1/5 and clone the crane?

Both good shot.

Thanks for the comments. I added a pano that I shot last night to the series.

Shaun, thanks for you composition comments. I hear what your saying, it's a bit akward, and I would crop the bottom; however, I lose would lose the gentle curve of the ramp in the bottom left which I want to stay. I see no reason for the crane to stay though, thanks for catching that.

Great shots, the 12th avenue bridge has always been a favorite of mine. I like the pano shot the best. Looks like it was taken from Queen Anne? But looks like it was taken farter west of the typical Kerry park shot though. Where is did you take that from?

Great shots!

I'm pretty familiar with that park/bridge area, but I can't figure out where you took the first photo from? It seems to be a different perspective than I usually see from the top of the hill.

I really like the first one. Beautiful. Pleasant composition and a bang on exposure.

The first photo is from the 12th avenue bridge and I'm pretty sure the pano is from the Kracke Park park area.
