I am looking for a pneumatic posing stool for kids. Any suggestions? Was thinking about checking local music stores.

Have you considered this one? Not sure about the age of the kids (i.e. their height) but ranges from 20-30 inches.

Office supply stores (Office Max, etc.) have adjustable stools with removable backs.

Adorama also carries posing stools with an armrest.
