Hi, I just upgraded from elements 2 to cs2, but have 2 problems:

1) In elements, I use the selctoin brush often but CS2 doesn't have it -or does it???

2)In elements, I used color cast correct sometimes, again, i can't find it in cs2 - what is the alternative for these things??

thanks for your advice!

press ctrl+L for levels. Down on the bottom right, there's the black, gray, and white point eyedroppers to correct white balance. (color cast)

...and I don't know what you mean by "selection brush"

thankyou - you levels solutoin works well.

As for the other question- in Elements 2 , selection brush is a masking tool that is like a paint brush- whatever i draw on becomes selected and you can change the brush width, like a paint tool:eek: - what is the tool in cs2 that works like this??

Gosh, I've never done that, I guess. I looked, and I couldn't find anything like that in CS2 for the life of me. I pretty much always use the lasso tools. More specifically, I use the polygonal lasso tool to make selections. Don't know what to tell you.

geez- elements2 is a pretty decent program!

I like to use my tablet to trace something out, how would you trace out or select a person in cs2 - magnetic lasso is fair but bot that accurate- there must be a good way...
