That is a great one, Mike. Love that his little cheeks are puffed out and getting ready to blow... the DOF is just right, I think. Do you have another one in this series? You must have one of the dandylion seeds in air.....

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

B&W works great for this picture. Great capture.

If you are still wishing for the summertime, come visit South Texas. For the last two weeks the highs has been in the upper 70's and just a couple of days ago it got into the 80's.

I can remember when my sons hair looked like that. Nice shot.
We are still waiting for winter here in Texas. :)

Cute shot for sure and I like the cheeks too!

Yes on waiting for winter here in Texas. I don't think it's going to happen with the 80 degree days!!! That's about 27 degree Celsius for you metric folks!!!

thanks guys for all of the great comments. really nice to hear good feedback on stuff i am proud of :)

Maureen, since he was only about 2 in this shot, the amount of air coming out of him really couldnt move the seeds too well lol. actually this is the most successful he was at getting them airborne.

see the story behind this shot is as follows:
i had my niece over for the weekend and wanted to get some nice shots of her. so i took her and my son to this field near my house and had her blowing dandelion seeds and actually got some nice captures of it. very soft and dainty shots. well when i turned around my son had gone and picked a whole bunch of seeds and was trying to blow them all at the same time. funny as you can see cause some of the seeds did actually get airborne (there are one or two if you look closely) but more of them actually wound up stuck to his face cause he was shoving his mouth into the seeds and there was some residual candy (or something sticky he was eating that shouldnt have been) so the seeds are stuck all over his face...probably my favorite part of this picture. lol
