Very nice Jason what a beautiful colored shoveler. I agree pintails are my favorite as well, great in- flight shot.

Mine too. It's funny-shovelers are looked at with a lot of disdain by duck hunters in my area-apparently they don't taste good, I've never eaten one. Take a picture of a mature male, though, and you see just how pretty they are.
