We went out with the plan to get shots of Bald Eagles on the Skagit River. We didn't have too much luck so we explored the area. Continued up into North Cascades NP and drove over Diablo Dam. Just teetering back and forth between rain and snow, clouds & fog were constantly changing the visibility. Just after we went over, it got dark enough to trigger the lights so they had a soft glow as they were warming up.

Any C&C appreciated

Nice work with the dam...I haven't ever been out there in the winter. I particularly like the light shots; they've got a sort of ethereal look to them.

Thanks for the responses, all. When I saw the lights coming on I felt I had a chance to get some good shots (as long as I didn't mess it up :-) ) .

I've only been up there twice in the past 10 years, both times in winter. It's so close and such an amazing area, really need to go back in summertime when the roads are open and areas are more accessible.
