About to import todays session, was a really fun shoot followed by a late lunch. I'm stuffed...
X-T4 and the 50/1 is such a good combo for these kind of shoots, now to pick and grade my selection so the clients can choose the ones they want and then I'll do a final edit on those, these for promo shots from some new music releasing soon.

From today, I’ve yet to do final edit but with just a quick colour grade in Capture One they are already looking good. Pays to spend time getting the lighting right before you press the shutter if you can.
These were shot inside a barn on their farm and lit with a 600ws mono in a big box. X-T4 & 50/1 @f/2 1/60 shutter. Still haven’t bought a GFX…

Might just add a little skin tone to his chest and I’m done. Moody lighting I finally got to do for a paid shoot.

Shout out to what is probably Fuji's most under rated and least popular lens, the XF 60/2.4. This lens seriously makes me consider selling my 56/1.2.

Delivered the edited 12 and only a couple of requests back (all skin retouching) so that’s good, another hour in the edit on Monday and done.

Up early, on a Sunday, to do some retouching. Next was to match some tone into the hands/wrists as I see so many photos out there that have great work done on the face but never matched elsewhere. Bothers me a good bit.

You didn't bother matching in C1 because?

Took the extension rings out for a spin in the garden (12+20mm)

I don’t retouch in C1.

Delivered the finished promo shots today. Clients happy so that’s good.

Two individuals from the 13 I delivered in the end. Last minute request for another one. Nice.

Out doing a bit of practice & checking on the swans who are nesting but not hatched yet. Soon hopefully.

Miss framed this robin a bit but that’s what practice is for I guess.

If I hadn't just pulled the trigger on a Sigma 150-600mm, would have been super zoom when?

Very nice, especially like that second portrait, very well done. I'm glad I don't shoot for money, I'd never know what to pick from the wide selection you seemed to have for this project. (I always agonize about which shots to choose, even while just posting on flickr or Facebook.)

Also tomorrow I’m in a meeting with Fujifilm, and not over zoom or teams :-P , anyone what me to ask anything?

Ah, shame I didn't see this until today. Did you find out about anything interesting? Frankly, what I'd have been the most curious about is whether they're reworking the 56mm along the same mold they have so far for the 18 (kinda of a rework) and the 23/33. Also wondering about the 60 macro along the same lines. If you get another chance to ask and you remember!
