Just ordered an Xt-1 and selling all my canon gear.
Also selling my x100s soon.

You might miss the 70-200 a little, but the 50-140 this fall might take care of that

You wont regret it (and if you do you can always go back )

my only regret from selling all my Canon gear is that I should have waited until the body and lens I ordered were delivered to me before I sold my Canon stuff

B&H status still shows estimated availability for the 35mm 1.4 to be 5/20.

Well, I finally got a chance to play with my new 10-24 and found out that I have the dreaded dust on my sensor. I noticed that my shots with small aperture had consitent spots/orbs showing up. I shot a pic of my wall at f22 and found 2 very distinct spots near center about 3/4 the way up. There are some lighter ones on the outside, but I doubt those would ever show up at useable apertures. The two ones in the center show up at f8 and above. I tried multiple lenses and blew off the mirror, but the dust is under the glass, similar to other reports.

double check the back of the lens. I thought I had a major issue as well but the spot was so obnoxious I knew I'd be able to see it just looking and didn't which made me look at the lens. I had 2 weird pieces of dust on the back (when I first got it) which were doing it. Blew them out and I've been good since.

we have a GREAT fuji thread there from when I switch and now 3 other members have all dumped their canon gear to go fuji as well.

I'm also thinking about selling my X100s. I just prefer the XE body to the X100s body so much (better buttons) so I just pair it with the 18 or 27 if I want small. I haven't sold the X100s just yet but I'm thinking about it. It'd also be nice to be using one battery.

I get 3-4 a page and the autolinking in posts via dealtime for products. Swear I had a flash popup the other day. I dabble with internet marketing some so don't have any adblockers installed on this machine.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Optech Mirrorless Sling, some extra mini QD's and a Tamrac Apache 2 shoulder bag. Like the build quality on my Lowepro bags better, but the Apache seems to be exactly what I was looking for from a functional perspective. Now I just need to lookup how to make one of those paracord wrist straps and think I'll be set!

I don't think I could function on the internet without Adblock anymore it just makes everything so much easier to navigate.

I couldn't find it searching from my phone but a guy I regularly work with named Craig Caudill from the Nature Reliance School has a video on how to make one of those paracord bracelets that is really easy to follow. I'm sure there are tones of other videos out there on how to do it, took me about an hour to make mine.
