He claims his "Viltrox 85mm is sharper, faster" and he prefers the focal length. I get it... I like my 90 quite a bit, but still keep the 50f2 just in case.

I've given a lot of thought to selling mine as well. It's a fantastic lens, but probably my least used XF lens... I just generally find the 60/2.4 or a manual lens more useful for my needs/style... just haven't brought myself to sell it yet though, it's wonderful those few times I do use it.

Lot of longer focal length stuff recently, that’s comforting to see others here doing the same.

Charging a camera with the bus 5v power, ha probably not by much but camera noticed. Plus I took a bus as managed to pack everything into a backpack for once, although I forgot to get off at the stop and ended up walking for 30 minutes to the location. Not so bad as usually I’ll have a ‘few’ box’s in the car.

Got round to shooting my piece to camera this afternoon, already graded it so just the b-roll and such to edit in over the weekend and I can let this one out. Busy with a show & tell tomorrow and off to teach Aikido tonight.

All this talk about selling off the 56mm is getting me itchy .

Lens gone today. Found time in a busy day of shooting mostly video of testing out a lens but it was rain rain rain so we hid for coffee and some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in ages

Right at the end of our video day the sun came out but only me left as I dropped the others back to the train station. So I took back out a camera and found some dear. Will post shots of those over the weekend once I get to editing them but I’ve a shoot tomorrow so maybe Monday. Time for some beer now.

Have to remember to clean my sensor today as back in the nice warm studio to shoot some sculptures.

Yesterday I got very wet but still managed to find some sun late in the evening as I was about to drive home.

This simple cable makes my life easy when I'm in studio, like I am today, but I wish there was a good (fast) wireless way for those times when you need to move about. Maybe one day.
Shooting some sculpture today, & probably should have shot this at 5.6 but it was a quick handheld snap really.

Wet asphalt. Couldn't pass on the opportunity.

One of the finished* image I shot yesterday, Lit this with one light, a scrim and two bounce boards & that background is 255 all the way
These are for a catalogue so about 5 shots or so of each one, very thankful for tethering into Cap1 for these kind of shoots as I can control all from the computer.
