That XF 16/1.4 is an undeniably awesome lens... hard for me to justify for my uses right now though... I'll stick with my TTartisan 17/1.4 for now

Spent a couple of hours with another photographer who was looking at swapping out his D500 for the H2S. He does a lot of bird photography so we met at the local raptor centre.
Shot using the bird subject detection, didn't have any trouble picking out the birds :)

Was hoping to catch a Brazillian Lynx that's having some work done, I was a hour late :( But did manage this - H2S was in bird subject mode still from yesterday, totally ignored the van and put a box around the falcon :D

After I realised the helicopters were a no-show I upped the shutterspeed.

It's weird to me how some of these TTArtisan lenses are getting some pretty bad reviews... maybe I keep scoring good copies.

Winter time = lots of stir crazy, so the girls use our kitchen as a racetrack. Tried to get some panning shots as they zipped by. In the second shot, little sister isn't quite strong enough to get up to speed, so there's not much panning going on haha

A friend lent me an X-pro 3 since the 100V's are never coming back in stock. I should have purchased one back when they were plentiful, this viewfinder is handy to help with the composition.

The Tamron 11-20mm f/2.7 has officially been announced (external link) for Fuji!

This lens plus my 33mm f/1.4 could make a great travel kit in the future!

Still struggling with the Fuji X-series bodies and the Nikkor 500mm PF. Used the X-H2 and 500mm PF combo at Middle Creek while watching the Snow Geese. For these slow moving large birds subject recognition worked well, very few OOF images.

Three coming in for touch down...
