My lee holder fell off the front of the camera today. I was moving from one spot to another and I know better than to do that. Then a cokin filter slid out of the holder (because they're thinner this happens when there's any movement). That should have been my warning but instead I was focused on finding a place to stop moving so I could pick that one up. Within a step or two the whole holder came crashing down. Shattered Lee CP (which are now $215! :confused) and my .9 GND is all scratched up. I need to either ALWAYS put the entire holder in my filter hive when moving it at all or I need to rig a damned safety... Or both. My Gear List

I mean I was pissed at the time ($300 stings!) but yeah, it's not the first time and probably not the last? Last time was because the Lee holders didn't grip the CP well enough at first, I added stops to mine after that one which is why I'll add a safety this time. Thanks though! My Gear List

I have Xume adapter rings on a few of my XF lenses, but I still won't use it for the 10-24 and Lee FK in fear of what happened to you. Hopefully you'll figure out a good safety tether solution!
