I wish they made a new version of the X70. I would need nothing else than a slightly more capable sensor (X-Trans III would be good enough). Then again, from a pure aesthetics point of view, X-Trans II might just be the pinnacle.

Such a fun little camera.

I mis my x70 a lot these days, I shouldn’t have sold it. Fuji making an x80 would be a game changer for sure.

Learnt to blow bubbles, the dog at least as excited as my niece who was also enjoying eating them, much to the dismay of her Mum.

Also, I’d been a while since I took out my old and very used X-PRO2. Still a wonderful camera to use.

Took a walk about the lake this morning with a camera. Didn't see much to shoot though, one of the coots are nesting and the swans have already hatched but I havent seen them about much this year as they took to a different nesting area plus I had to give back that XF150-600 I had for a while last year. Really must pick up a long lest sometime soon, I'd almost never use it for work though so difficult to justify the spend in a way.

This on the GFX100s with my old Sigma 28-300mm f3.5-6.3 zoom, cropped into 17.7mp, really difficult to focus but not a terrible lens considering. Thinking of testing out the Tamron EF G2 150-600mm with the Fringer adaptor as I read that it works well on the 100s.

Loved this image, was actually out in Wisconsin, Tornadoey day, and seeing a lightning storm I decided to head out to the deck and try to capture one. In the end I decided to join two images (one of the lightning, half right) since it took me only about 150 frames to capture it, and the farm on the left hand side. This -if I recall correctly- was taken with the 23mm f/2 on my XH-1, just outside Madison.

Oh, I'm shooting exclusively on Acro. (JPG + RAW, to keep all color image in case it merits additional editing)

Thank goodness no tornado, but still, made for an interesting day and a lovely image.

Lighting test, apparently I look like this today in work. On location earlier banging out some headshots for ID's so strict look to the light, even light, no poses, hotspots etc... Think I nailed it (except for the pose :-P ).

My mate Ross did a small gig to record some live versions of his upcoming music, that he's been busy recording in studio. We filmed a couple of tracks, nice and loose, using the GFX and an XT4 with another person, who Ross new, for the wide shots. We had discussed all this before hand of course so great to have the extra 2 angles. Ross did the grading/editing etc...
The song is called Be OK. & the full studio version is being released next week so this was/is for the buildup.

XT4 is a little over exposed for my taste but letting one of my frequent assistants loose to do what she feels is right is great on these as it fits the vibe Ross wanted. XT4 was in a Ronin and I was handholding the GFX in a small rig. No screens on as we needed to not distract from the performance for the benefit of the other in the audience.

I prefer your one OoDee :-P Focus is just behind the jar, that's 35mm @f/2.4 on a medium format sensor for you. Zeiss MC 35mm F/2.4.

Still my all time favourite camera, the X-PRO2. I'd just become a Fuji X-photographer though they didn't announce it till a couple of months later but this was the camera I got when I signed that contract. It's special for that reason but also turned out to be a good fit for me. I'd never part with it.
Also that little EF-X8 flash, there are times when its just right
