I did notice one thing about the Fuji though.. It over exposes sunlit skin by 1 stop... look at the dancers leg in #4.... kinda disappointed about that, but she loves and i love these images!

I can't remember off the top of my head...but currently Fuji only meters from the center correct? I think in their next firmware update, it will allow metering based on which focus point is active?

Is that something that can be addressed purely through software? I thought there was some hardware implementation for that feature, meaning Firmware wouldn't be able to update it? But I might be wrong.

I would think the Classic Chrome film simulation is almost a guarantee with the next round of firmware updates (rumored in December I believe), but not sure about the other stuff.

maybe I'm just reading this wrong...

Focus improvements
With the firmware update, you'll be able to set the focus point with the four-way controller on the back of the camera, without having to press the Fn button. You'll be able to turn the Macro function on and off without accessing the menu screen, and you'll be able to lock the spot area to the focus point in spot metering mode.

Where did you find that? Nope, I think you are reading it correctly, very interesting! Is this just for the Fuji X-T1?

this gives a list of all of the features coming to the black X-T1 in December, which the graphite version will have at launch.

check point 6, feature 9:

(9) Interlocking of Metering and Focus areas
Users will be able to interlock the AF area position with the Metering area when Spot Metering mode is selected.

Great shots dtufino! Here is another link about the firmware update for the xt1. http://www.fujivsfuji.com …fuji-x-t1-firmware-update (external link)

So I currently have the kit lens, 56, and 50-230. Heavily debating picking up the 23 and selling off the kit and tele. I like the idea of having only the 23 and 56. Anyone shoot with just those two primes? I'm not worried about losing the tele range as I only shoot it occasionally and will ultimately replace with the 55-200 or 50-140 eventually.

You X-T1 guys are so lucky. I'm just hoping to get Classic Chrome.
