Let us know how it works out. I'm still using the last version of the non cloud.

My workflow is lightroom cc & into Photoshop cc as needed. Have capture one pro 9 but haven't got round to installing it yet as I find Lr & Ps work great for me. I use Autopano Giga for stitching those large multi row ones together. Jpeg mini on output off all the jpegs saves a ton of space. Lately I've been also running my colour edits through Silver Efex pro2, I built a standard B&W preset that I like. Now I can give both colour and B&W to events clients.

I've been using Adobe CC for about a year, I don't really have any complaints.

On a related note - What editing programs do we all use? I've always used Lightroom. Upgraded to LR5.7 with the Sony A7 which is fine at the moment [with the X-E2] but I'm going to have to jump up to LR6 if I end up upgrading to the X-Pro2........

For EDITING I use Capture One because I find it does a significantly better job of rendering images from RAW files--better detail, more pleasing image and better access to the full tonal range available in the image. The editing tools in Capture One are superior. The advanced color editor and skintones editor can be used together and provide powerful abilities which, as far as I know, are not replicated elsewhere. Color editor selections can also be used as masks for layers and there is support for something like seven layers (haven't found a need for all of them yet). The recovery of highlights and shadows works very well and more organically than I have seen. There are a number of other advantages, including speed, but these listed above were easily enough reason to commit to C1. As a RAW converter and capture tool, C1 is the older and more professional tool compared to LR.

I use Adobe's Creative Cloud. I still use LR for file management and other tasks, since I am very familiar with it and have a substantial catalog.

I use Photoshop for more advanced editing tasks.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Thanks for the editing input. Good to know what others find okay to use. I've always used LR as I said I just don't like being tied into to monthly subscriptions

Another query I can't find my way around.

AF-C doesn't work. When I switch to AF-C the camera goes into Manual focus mode.... AF-S and M work as normal. Must be a setting somewhere. Maybe I should have factory reset...?!!

This little girl grabbed the horn at some point and surprised everyone with a bellow louder than the adults could muster, which lead to us all chanting "THE QEEN OF THE NORTH!" It was a good time, we definitely made her day

Nice shots. That 35mm f1.4 is awesome lens color wise even though I don't like the focal length. Not sure why folks lust for the newer f2s. And 35mm f1.4 has the best looking hood IMHO.

Thanks!

Yeah, it's my favorite lens for the system. I'm always a fan of the colors and it's pretty sharp wide open. I also find the AF is fine on it with the X-Pro2, though it is a little slow on my X-E2.

I love that I can have the 35/1.4 on the camera and the 18/2 in my pocket and all I have to do is swap the hood between them when I swap lenses, it's the perfect go everywhere kit :)

Out for a cycle this evening and [ahem] happened to have my pano-gimbal and tripod on me. Thought the house looked alright at dusk so popped off a 26 shot multi-row.
