Have another going up tonight or tomorrow on Mondays shoot..
Part 1 .. (the one going up soon) is purely behind the scenes type video
Part 2 (probably added in another week or 2 )will be some behind the scenes but mostly sharing my thoughts and experience so far with Fuji

Wish I was good enough at PS to get rid of the electrical box by models head

One of those things that I need to continue to get better at .. learning to see more , notice things like that so they wont drive me crazy

A lot of ways to to do. You can use the clone stamp tool or the spot healing tool. Create a duplicate layer in PS and start with making a quick selection around the model.

You can separate her on a another layer and use the clone stamp tool pretty freely.

Search tutorials by Phlearn on YouTube he is amazing at teaching those things.

Was going to shop it but thought I'd better not as it's not my image. I'd use the spot healing brush on the box and just tidy up the cable and any brickwork as needed, drawing in some highlights etc...

I hear ya.. I try to do as much as I can setting up to minimize post processing afterwards, but sometimes you can't get around it. Something that takes someone like Aaron Nace (Phlearn) to do in like 5 minutes... ends up taking me like 2 or 3 hours to do lol. I try to do most of my post processing in Lightroom, and only bring it into Photoshop if it's something I absolutely have to have done.

What's your post-process on these? I like the muted tones. I usually import, set it to Classic Chrome, and adjust from there.

Haha.. thanks .. yeah I don't pretend to be a professional or to know exactly that I know everything I'm doing it's more of a come along and watching try to figure this out LOL

Recently started add chrome in LR as step 1 .. liking the results as its similar to what i try and do anyway.
Then make basic adjustments white balance exposure Shadows highlights that sort of thing
Take it PS , nik , skin adjustments then back to Lightroom, possiblely need adjust highlights again a little bit and maybe Shadows, tweak s-curve ,adjust saturation and sometimes split toning

Gotta love these Fuji colors, nice set Lucas.

My TT685f arrived tonight, quite play about with it at home, it's nice to have a full integrated flash unit again. The quality seems good to me both of the build and the light but I guess a few months of working it will tell a better story.
