I have a few events coming and I wonder if I should just buy the 685 or use my TT350 in a different manner?

I love the size of the 350 but to keep my workflow at a steady pace the 685 might be the answer.

I think would depend on the event, I'm in two minds about keeping the Nissin i40 as an on camera flash for casual or up close work. It goes down to 1/256 power and is only 40GN to start with so great for a tiny bit of fill. I find it runs out of puff to quickly and the recharge times suffer a bit too much with using fuller pop. Hoping to not have that problem with the 685.

For the price of the 685 it's worth the punt if you use on camera or short remote flash. I just wish Godox had 'taken their design cues' for Nissin or made the X32f. That was a good controller but the little Nissin Air1 is perfect on the small mirrorless body, it's small and easy to use and see. The X1Tf is a PoS to use as far as I'm concerned. If I didn't use the bigger Godox lights I'd probably just stick with the i60 to be honest for remote hand held[Ish] flashing eh, I mean strobing.

Im assuming after godox releases xpro-c , an "F" version will eventually come.. it certainly looks alot more user friendly than the x1t

Gotta love these Fuji colors, nice set Lucas.

Thanks man :)

Fuji's colors seriously just rock, I can't wait for their new RAW editing program.

I was using my 350 to trigger my 685 and it was working great... but I seem to have lost the 350. I was hoping it would turn up, but I think I'm just going to have to order another one... this is why I can't have nice things  I lost one of my YN 560's randomly a few years ago too...

Dropped down for a coffee this morning, so took the TT658f to have a test & found a willing subject. The camera had been set to FINE so no raw but that was OK. I had lent it to a friend to shoot with and I never even looked at the settings to see if he changed anything. Glad I noticed just after I shot it rather then at the end of tomorrows shoot. This is the guy who made my coffee, he seemed happy about it.

I just bought the X1t. Should get here today. I saw the Xpro-C and figured Fuji will eventually get one, but yes... that is one big trigger. That put me off a bit.

I can't get rid of my YN-560s :D. I still have 2 of the original YN-560's.. Those things are tanks and just won't stop working.

They're really great flashes. I've dropped mine on numerous occasions. Other than the wide card breaking off of one of them, they still work perfectly and look pretty much new... other than the one (of 3) that disappeared that is :p
