Getting ready to finally take the plunge after months of indecision. My Canon set up collects a lot of dust and i'm not using it. SO I"m going to sell and get a x100F and then save an XT-2 and a couple of lens. The key is to have the camera with me more and hopefully use it more.

I would suggest an x70 or hold off for an x80 vs getting the x100f.

I have the x100t and it is too big for a pants pocket and not well designed ergonomically. I played around with an x70 the other day and it was awesome. Will be trading in my x100t for it when the x80 comes out.

I had the opposite experience, whilst the x70 was smaller I found the ergonomics poor and opted for the x100t. I’ve since upgraded to the x100f and love it. Not pocketable but still take everywhere

Well we are on the internet so I am right and you are wrong. Clearly objective analysis.

I strongly disagree...

I love the ergonomics of my X100T, the only complaint being the lack of mechanical ISO control (which is resolved with the X100F) since my other 2 cameras both have it and the playback button being on the left side (again, resolved with the X100F).

I take my X100T just about everywhere, though now that I've been using my camera bag as my "work" bag I usually just carry my X-T1 and 18/35 combo.

True, the X100T isn't really pocketable... but who cares? Is it really any more cumbersome to carry a tiny camera on a strap? Women carry purses everyday and don't complain, seems silly to complain about having a camera which weighs essentially nothing on a strap. My EOS M could pass as "Pocketable" but it was far less comfortable to carry around in a pocket then it would be on a strap anyway.

I'm resisting my urge to pull the trigger on an X100F for now... the T is all I need from an image quality standpoint, but I really would love to have the interchangeable batteries with my other X series cameras and the other 2 nit-pic fixes I mentioned earlier... but hardly worth spending $500+ to resolve those issues right now.

It's crazy to think that between me and the viaduct there used to be a small village named Ashopton. It was demolished in the 1940s to make way for the filling of Ladybower Reservoir.

Chilling out in the cinema after the movie and probably too much sugar.
