My friend, who is over from BC, with his littlest boy walking about the grounds. Shot a few for him here yesterday then called over to his elderly mother's house today so I could get his whole family in a shot, probably the last time we'll be able to do this shot for him, with his mum and the extended family. Mixed emotions but a happy time all the same.

Make the most when you can.

Going to have put it through it's paces, but already just messing around the house with it today I'm pretty impressed! It might replace my Samyang 21mm... almost certainly won't be as good as that lens, but it's a third the size of it which means I can toss it in a bag without even thinking about it being there :lol:

It's funny how much size makes such a practical difference.

The 16/1.4 might be my favorite but, these days, the 18/2 gets used a lot more casually. If I'm "serious," I'll pack the 16/1.4 (which, to be fair, isn't that big of a lens). But the 18/2 is so small and handy...

Nice gift! Despite the many dropped hints for a trichromatic back I got a wooly hat.

I'm the same with the 18/2 and 16/1.4. Plus I really like the 18/2's look.
