Just saw that Fringer has made available their EF-XF smart adaptor, yes AF with your canon lenses on your Fuji bodies. I've sold all my canon mount lenses long ago but I know some here have them.

Anyway here is the link (external link)

I wouldn't mind having one of those, if they truly work, simply to be able to use my telephotos (300mm & 150-600) as they're the only Canon stuff I keep (with my 1D). It would be interesting to see how well the X-T1 handles the 150-600. Those adapters are not too costly either. $300ish is not bad at all for what it is. I just wonder if it really, really works.

Very best,

Too bad I don't have any Canon lenses left. It would be interesting to see the 135 L on my X-T2, although the Fuji 90 plays that role for me now.

Yeah, just sold my 135L. All I have left is the 70-200 f4 IS but I think my 50-140 is superior in every way.

I'm tempted to order that EF adapter just for the times when I shoot with my friend and his huge collection of L lenses

Can’t get enough of the 50-140, the build/image quality rocks.

The 70-200 f/4IS is quite an incredible lens. In due time I'd like to purchase a 50-140 and compare it to my 70-200 f/2.8IS mk2 with 5dmk4. Beauty of the 135L is that it's one of the cheap L lenses that collects dust in a high percentage of photographers bags. That's one reason why I dont consider the Fuji 90mm FL. I still like the modern nano coated Canon 100L f/2.8IS over the 135L images too.

All need is a Fuji 10-18 f/2.8, 50-140 an my Fuji secondary kit will be more suitable for my needs. I still much prefer the 56mm over the 90mm for most applications.

Kim, thanks for the heads up!!

Something for me to consider. However I'd rather have native glass on fuji.

Interesting how we all approach camera gear in different ways. I'd rather use my Canon 80D with canon glass before cash layout for an EF-XF adapter.

I'll admit it would be interesting to use a Canon 70-200 f/2.8IS mk2 and see how fuji render looks like with EF glass.

The official Fringer site is showing this adapter in two flavors Standard and Pro version. I don't see any major retailer carrying
these. The Pro version shows to be available on the Fringer site for $299.00, shipping? The standard version is not showing up
nor its price which should be less expensive.

Man I use to make excuses as to why I need to shoot with the 135L such a perfect lens, but I guess I was somewhat use to shooting 135mm from my film days, along with 35 and 50mm.

The pro version has aperture control of the lens, and 'PRO' stamped on the side (you know who you are)...

Fuji native glass rocks! But if I had some EF glass I'd probably order the Pro version of that adaptor, glass like 400/2.8 and such, as it's only a few hundred bucks. If I still had Canon cameras I probably wouldn't though.

The 90/2 is an outstanding lens but it is different than the 135L, just not the same feel  I mostly use the 90/2 as a technical kind of lens, as in I need to get in close and tight. I don't love it the same at all. ( you want to hear the gasps from the Fuji peeps when I mentioned that, they smiled after thankfully). Roll on the 180mm for the GFX...

I used the 135L on my Fuji for a couple of shoots but it was a little to long for that, still worked out well though. I'd love to try it with a speed booster.

Reminded me of the iPhone snap I took of the Eye when visiting Ireland in 2015. Vantage point is from the top of the cliffs. Cheers.
