Shot a short video with the new firmware last night at indoor event.
No problem here.

I’m confused but it still works now . I only had issues with video and I could shoot continuously with stills without a hitch .

I'd still say drop Fuji an email with the issue and see what they send back

Ive read about several people having screen flicker issues after the update.

Today the Fuji worked beautifully for my daughter’s birthday party taking video.

Strangest thing that has ever happened to me I seriously thought that I would have to drop it off at the camera store so it gets shipped out to Fuji Canada .

Call definitely have to call up Fuji regarding that problem I had .

Well finally started the culling of my Week in Zion's photos. From 481 shots dow to 271 and still more culling to go. We'll see how many I actually "like" when its all said and done

My very first day I went to shoot a sunset at Canyon Overlook. I forgot my tripod in the car, there were a bunch of people already there, and the sunset ended up sucking anyways. So I shot another photographer while I was there instead!

This was the first photo I ever edited on my iPad with LR CC. Wish the light would have been a little better for him (since he actually remembered his tripod)

Out walking today, some family time, when this pair of white doves zoomed over head, beautiful.

well I made the jump up..Just bought an XT-2. Cant wait to get it to see what kind of an upgrade it is for my XT1. Maybe it will actually be the point of replacing my Canon since I dont even reach for that anymore and the fact the Fuji images are just so much nicer to work with

Does anyone in here have a fisheye they reach for with their Fujis? I've been considering the Samyang one for a while now, but I really only ever used my fisheye once a year (and that time is approaching) when I had it for my Canon/Sony setup... so the even cheaper 7artisans one is pretty tempting.

I have the Samyang, it's not all that fishy but I like how wide it is & how good optically too. Haven't need to use it in years but for the odd shot it's nice to have.

I have the Rokinon (Samyang) and recommend it precisely because, as Two Hot Shoes points out, it isn't "too" fishy.

I have a bunch of images up on my wife's Instagram @marriedtothephotograp​her which can show you some diversity of use just in the limited context of photos of my wife.

It is like an ultra-wide for those who think ultra-wides are normal. If you find yourself wanting to include more. Like most ultrawides, it often benefits from being relatively close to your subject and paying attention to horizon and "distortion" issues.

If it were a different fisheye which renders in a different way, I don't think it would be as useful to me. Stereoscopic projection.

I also have a circular fisheye, which is tiny, inexpensive and fast. It is also surprisingly good for the cost. But it is far less useful in general.

I also have easy access to a Nikon 10.5mm fisheye, which I have also adapted to Fuji. If I owned that instead of the Rokinon, even though it is a good lens, it would be less useful to me because of the projection.

I would say if you are going to buy one, get the updated Samyang, because it is more useful.

That's definitely the way I'm leaning. I had the Samyang 8mm f3.5 for my T2i and then I was using a Nikkor 16mm f3.5 for my 6D and a7S.

I'm definitely a fan of Samyang lenses, but the 7artisans is half the price of the already cheap Samyang... tough choice

In reality, I know that I'll only use it a couple times a year and of those times I'll probably only keep a handful of images (at least, that was always the case in the past)… that said, those handful of images are usually ones that I really like.

I might cheap out on the 7artisans and put money away for the Laowa 9mm... that thing looks pretty amazing.

Not Fuji related but I Finally made the decision to get a Wacom Intuos for my editing, I have been putting this off for a while.

Dodging and burning and over all retouching is so much easier. It did take me about 30 mins to setup the tablet to my liking and I’m still learning.

I love my Wacom, so much easier for retouching. I got the photographer one in small a few years ago & it's been great, nibs wear out a bit fast though or perhaps I'm to rough on it. The new ones look like a nice bump in spec.

I bought one and sold it soon after. I don't think I gave it a fair chance. Just seemed unnatural to me.
