May 17, 2018 09:47 | #7247 I love my X100F. The one thing that has kept me from taking the final step and getting an x-T2 is the long glass I have for my Canon. I"m not an out and about kind of wildlife shooter. I'm a sit in a blind and take a pic of the critters kind of guy. I've gotten used to that Sigma contemporary 150-600

Very nice. The pay phones and man in the light-colored suit brought to mind Tom Wolfe, who just passed away. Working my way up to amateur

I'm a sit in a blind and take a pic of the critters kind of guy. I've gotten used to that Sigma contemporary 150-600 What are the options for Fuji shooters at that length? The $1900 for the 100-400 is a bit daunting, but I'll be able to cover that by selling some of the Canon glass. What experience do you X-T2 shooters have with longer glass? I'm not waiting on Fuji glass. I kept my Canon telephotos. I'm simply waiting on the 1 or 2 adapters that have been produced to become more available and affordable. So far, they seem to be working quite well. Well enough for what I would use them for. But basically it allows you to use Canon lenses (EF mount) with full electronic support on the Fuji system. I have an X-T1, it would be great to have my 300 F4L IS and 150-600 to operate with it. I kept my 1D just for my telephotos. As soon as I don't need the 1D, I won't have a Canon camera anymore. But I kept several pieces of Canon glass (including macro). I absolutely would love to use my macro lens on my Fuji. Just waiting on those adapters a bit longer.

On the X-PRO2 the 100-400 is a little big but works great, didn't try it for BIF as I'm not a birder Fujifilm cameras and lenses.

Quite impressive the things they can do today EF lenses with a aperture ring. Will be trying 100-400 II on a X-T2 should be better than the X-T1. Price shipped is $325.00 and the way there selling you may have a long wait for the price to come down. Yea, I'm just waiting to hear how it does with a 150-600 and the various 300, 400L, etc.
