Thanks. Black and white, and processing in general, is something I've also not given enough time to with my Fuji images. In the often very contrasty light here in Spain they seem to require quite different treatment to my Canon images. This has probably also coincided with my attempts to be less heavy-handed over time. Anyway, I was happy enough with this one in Black and White. Thanks.

Some from my lunch-break today with the X-Pro, 'Fallas' (temporary statues that later get burned) being built ... I also went and tried out a 35mm in a store as I've been really getting along with that focal length lately and it's missing from my Fuji kit.

I love the 35/1.4 (& the 18/2) always enjoy shooting with them when I can.

The 35mm f/1.4 was the one I tried out, only inside a store but it did seem like a really nice lens, but is the most pricey of the various options.

I'll probably pick up the 7artisans 35mm and see how I get on with that, and then maybe upgrade later. Another option is an adapter/speed booster which runs at about the same but since the only lens I would really be adapting is a 50mm, I think I'd rather have the more compact option of a lens designed for the Fuji mount - since compactness is one of the major advantages the Fuji has over my Canon camera.

Grabbed this on the way to work yesterday morning. Always a beautiful sunrise there but never stopped to shoot it. Liking Capture One more and more as I use it.

Busy week of work, thankfully. Managed to smash my iPhone during the week and no time to go get another one yet, maybe next week.. Dug out my old Nokia N95 8Gb and it still worked, 11 years later, but makes you appreciate how much easier things are now with modern phones.
Now a load of images to edit from the last two days, hope all here had a good week of shooting. Tethering to C1 and having Capture Mobile running on an iPad for proofs, such a nice way to work and almost instant to see the image on the screen, so good.
