I realized my wireless remote has a micro usb cable that I've used with my XT-1, X-Pro 2,... and the XT-3 has USB-C...

So I had to get my wife to toss the ball up and let it fall and bounce around repeatedly while I pressed the shutter. I shot at 1.2, so I made sure she got a good range of distance between me and the goal so all the balls didn't appear on the same plane, and so some balls would be more out of focus than others.

editing was a breeze... just had to do a rough cut out of the ball, inverse select, and delete the rest of the frame. Camera was on a tripod so nothing moved, and everything was pretty much seamless.

Wow you did then in real photos, cool. I'd have probably just added in the balls in post, your way looks like much more fun. There is a remote shutter button on the app have you just that yet? I haven't had the need so far.

Yeah.. thought of that AFTER I was done.

I use the image transfer app all the time. Never messed with the remote shutter app.

Yea it not something I’ve even used either. I don’t always find using the app the right thing although it is much faster these days so maybe it’ll work better now.

List of questions I asked Fuji last week
1. Can we finally record directly to a USB-c connected ssd now that the cameras are getting that standard connection.

2. Can we have an update to remove the time limit for recording video internally (see point one).

3. Would you look at how Panasonic’s camera app functions and Cascable too. Full screen would be nice for video.

4. Can I keep the two MK lenses.

Only the last one was a definite no

Just tell them to give you one of those 'Old' GFX 50s now that the new hotness GFX 100 is out. Those old units are sure to just start collecting dust. :-P

Two hopes of that happening and one of them plays golf. But they are good about letting you borrow gear if needed, I’d probably only ask for a GFX if I was shooting someone famous and they were ok about me talking about it. Might take the 100 out the next time I get to shoot for one of the big print shots though as it would make life easier.
