Rescuing a bee who looked like it had a difficult night trapped between our door mat and back door, couldn't buzz his wings much and only managed to raised a leg as I got close to unstick him. Happier to find I had a small (to me) spoon with a drop of honey on it. Sucked up as much as he needed to, had a clean, look at me for a bit then buzzed off. What a great start to the day.
Lens testing continues, Sharp? Check. Nice Bokeh? Check...

Made some Indian food last night. One of the dishes. Bare reflector with fill from a medium softbox overhead.

Went out last night and kept at it in the rain; was blessed when the sky cleared and was given a few minutes of this gorgeousness.
Still need to work on my pano technique - seems more images would help.

Here you go. This one is just sautéed potatoes and carrots and with the peas thrown in at the end. Recipe wise, some olive oil, add cumin seeds if you like them. Then potatoes and carrots, sauté a bit, medium-low heat. Cover but not too much. You want to strike a balance between sauté and steamed to cook them quickly. Spice wise, salt, pepper, chili flakes, some paprika, and curry powder. After 10 mins, add peas and give them 1-2 mins.

Just a very striking sunset captured in a local high school retention pond. Used Nik's new Perspective Efex for the miniature effect.

Abandonded house in a field, surrounded by development but refusing to sell. Family is probably split up by now, fighting over money, you know the story.

^^ same house, but showing a different side of it. Same evening, just walked to a different location and instead of exposing -1, this is HDR.
Just goes to show, we can present the narrative we wish to tell. I can image the family sipping tea (unsweet, as it should be) on the front porch after this gentle rain.

More I use the Fuj the more I like it, the T4 and the e3.
I just wish I'd begun the fuji dabble when I was younger ;)
but learning new systems like learning a new language, musical instrument, or game is good for
preventing dementia and I need that!

Here's another from our Osprey trip and a play with the Fuji 80mm.
