Plenty of these little house sparrows hanging about at the back of my garden. They really like that tree a lot.

So I think instead of trying to choose an IR filter (I'm really torn on all of them  ) I'm just going to get a camera converted to full spectrum. Since full spectrum is also supposed to enhance astrophotography abilities... I think I might actually convert the X-Pro2 instead of the X-T1.

To ask a further question... does anyone have any experience with full spectrum cameras? I understand you can still shoot visible light with it utilizing a filter. That's not the most practical thing ever, but it would mean that I could still use my X-Pro2 as an emergency backup, which would be awesome.

Any thoughts are always appreciated!

Also, I feel like I never share pictures anymore, so here's a few

I got to play around with my buddy's drone a little bit. It's a cool thing, but the hoops you have to jump through to fly the things pretty much remove them from my radar

I have thought about converting an X-Pro2 to Monochrome... A bit pricey though....

All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.

^beautiful arrangement Paul.
I really need to branch out, seems lately all I'm getting are bierds and bugs :)

With the home made flash diffuser I'd posted up a couple pages back.

I think these flies (Hover? Drone?) are a bit too small for the 80mm, even with an 11mm tube.
I'll try with the Laowa next time I get an opportunity to squat in the yard for a 1.5x

OK going by memory I'd say around 4 inches/10cm.
And these Hover flies are so small shooting with a 1:1 macro lens (the Fuji 80mm) I still had to crop...probably
too much.
I'm trying to get another Hover fly using the Laowa macro but today the rains were too much. I'll keep trying though.
