OK going by memory I'd say around 4 inches/10cm.
And these Hover flies are so small shooting with a 1:1 macro lens (the Fuji 80mm) I still had to crop...probably
too much.
I'm trying to get another Hover fly using the Laowa macro but today the rains were too much. I'll keep trying though.

Thanks.

No real shooting today, busy with stuff here but did do a hero shot for an upcoming vid, camera only detached twice (it had a soft landing)!
Got to say this is a very difficult vid to make interesting, not able to go out and do a shoot with a model or anyone to see this bit of kit in action, so I guess it’s talking into the camera time, sigh... Still, better get this one done soon.

Took the X100T for a trip to my buddies riverfront home. Folks don't get worked up when you just take a casual photo. That camera is gold, baby.

I don’t have a full spectrum, but if I were paying for a conversion, it’s the way I would go. What you are interested in tomorrow might be different and this gives you flexibility.

Disadvantage: filters needed all the time and potentially in many sizes and types can add up.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Sun is shining today, been dull for the last week or so here... Popped out early to have a coffee and bumped in a few friends who had the same idea. This is Dave and Luna. The little EF-X8 flash comes in handy in the sun to help balance the light
XC15-45mm again.

Hawk Chasing Squirrel

Spotted this Red Shouldered Hawk chasing a Squirrel.
The Squirrel managed to escape.

The Critters were located in some very dark underbrush.
I had to boost the Iso to 10,000 to maintain a shutter speed of 1/800.
The image output quality of the X-trans sensor is quite impressive.
Happy trails.
