Wildfires everywhere and it was really hazy with lot of smokes. Been staying inside for the last few days. But wanted to see how the sunset will turn out as predictions were for a nice one. Glad I went out. I need a longer lens. Thinking of tamron 28-200mm for the Sony.

It has beauty. Really well photographed.
Feel for you lot over there. Fires have caused too much devastation.
Trust they are soon snuffed.
Seems like some of our lot are heading your way to help out.

Wonderful!
I took a Tam 28-200 on last months trip out west. Used it a lot on the Riv.
No regrets selling the 70-300G, the 24-105G, and the 16-35/4 (I took the Tam 17-28 too).
Maybe through Amazon, returns are so easy, if you don't like it.

Yes I have been watching your shots from the tamron. I can sell my 28-75mm and use the 28-200mm.

Check sports forum over at FM.

I would say check sports forum over at FM, people who shoot football wear one.

The air quality is getting really bad. I should have bought couple of extra box fans yesterday to make makeshift hepa filters. Went to 2 home depots, no fan. None at walmart, lowes either. Outside is totally unbreathable. This yr has been bad.

I photograph birds, or at least I try to, and most days it just makes me want to give up, so when I turn my focus to my other photography pursuit, my family, you think it'd be a reprieve from the utter frustration that is birding. Nope. My 2yr old daughter is just as difficult as the birds, she absolutely loathes having a camera pointed in her direction, and makes every effort to obfuscate my shots. It's only when I get clever and time it when she's not expecting, that I can get a genuine smile or gesture. I suppose it makes the good shots I do get even more special, but there's days where I just want her to throw me a bone and let me get an easy shot.

Despite all that, I am having an absolute blast with the film sims. This first shot is Classic Neg:

This next is a Classic Chrome with bumped shadows and the Color Chrome Effect set to Strong:

Randall this is excellent, all the elements I love in an image and well crafted.

Walked out of the hospital this morning for the drive home and two blocks away
this guy on a wire.
X-T30+EOS 400/5.6, my everyday everywhere carry now, sometimes subbing out the fuji 55-200 (and hoping they'll
issue the 70-300 soon).

A lot of processing artifacts from really working the sky in post/dehaze...and me too laze to zoom in and fix the margin.

All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely players performers and portrayers.
