Another one from this weekend. Yes GFX is a slow camera but pictures out very very good. Used 2 strobes, AD600 in a medium SB for main. AD200 with reflector as a hair light.

The Boy's school is doing halloween dress-up day today, they can't wear anything that requires help getting in and out of to keep with the new guidelines of social distancing as we are again on almost total lockdown here in Ireland. He dressed up as his favourite Beano character Roger The Dodger. The Beano is the worlds longest running weekly comic.

Also I'm counting this as a real shoot so I can say I worked today & done before 9am... Now coffee :-P

I miss shooting gigs, and going to them as well, this was one of the last gigs I got to, just found it while looking for something else and seeing it made me kinda sad. Hopefully next year will be easier. I started out by shooting gigs in Dublin back in the film days when I use to shoot 'full frame' :p. Still enjoy the odd time I get to go shoot live music.
Also I caved in and bought a new lens but it's not made by Fuji I ordered the new 7Artisans 35mm f/0.95. They say it's ship just after the 3rd of Nov, not sure how much after but looking forward to it. Still considering the XF50mm F/1.0 as well and it someone would make something like a 16 or 18 or even 23 f/1.0 that'd make me very happy(ish).

Being home with a 4 week old leaves me with zero chances to go out and shoot, literally. It's no surprise all my recent photos seem to include either strollers or the boy in them.
