I usually do not like B/W. This image however is top drawer.

To try and gain some lock-down sanity, took a short drive through a local game reserve recently and got these shots of a black-headed heron

Randall help me to understand.
I love the model, beautiful!
Pose=awesome.
B/W I'm good with.
But the skin, and remember I shoot bierds and bugs, is blotchy? What
is going on with that? I'm sure her skin it quite healthy and not blotchy.

No lock down here. Try living with the hillibillies...wear a mask and they think you are going to rob them.

I was also wondering about that (also wildlife shooter). My guess is that this was exposed for the highlights and then the shadows were lifted quite a bit and the blotches are noise???

Awesome idea! Do the lights not disturb them at all? This is a really cool shot.

Had to take my kid to the dentist and had an hr to kill before the appointment so I stopped by the Mission San Jose, here in Fremont, CA. I used my 24mm TS-E II on the GFX. I took a few shots from different angles. I don't shoot architecture and new to the 24mm TS-E lens also. At the end, I shot this, which I liked.
