Just wanted to get outside the house. Just took a few grab shots before the sun went behind the mountains.

Anyone have a hankering for the x100v?

I've been thinking about one to replace my X-Pro2... but the price needs to drop below $1k for me to be willing to do it.
$1400 is just too much, especially since the xt3 is only $999. I'm fine with waiting a year of so.

Who has experience with the x100 series and can weigh in the pros and cons based on USE instead of specs?

The PROS for me would be the smaller size and it would enable me to truly have a Fuji camera on me at all times.
I've stopped carrying the xPro around lately.

The CONS would be the singular lens (and possibly the very minor only one card slot).

In a perfect world I'd still have two bodies with dual card slots, possibly getting another xt3 since they are so reasonable.

If I hadn't moved out into the mountains (where I really don't mind carrying a bigger camera as much, since I pretty much always have a bag either on my person or in my vehicle), I would have bought an X100F to replace my X100T months ago.

The weight difference can feel significant when you have it slung over your shoulder all day, I took my X100T everywhere without really giving it a second thought, it was akin to grabbing my wallet and phone, it's just something I always had with me.

I also found the leaf shutter and ND filter to be pretty handy on a few occasions. It's kind of like how I feel about concealed carry weapons... you're not going to need them the vast majority of the time, but when or if you do need them, you'll be very glad that you have them

Same here, although a part of me wants to upgrade to the newest X-T and put a pancake lens on my X-T2.

This Thanksgiving I'm thankful to be in a place where I can see actual nature, without discarded shopping carts

Just found out that the lens 7Artisans sent me got lost in the post, despite it being tracked. They are sending another one and hopefully before the 5:30 am wedding I have next week. I was/am looking forward to seeing what it can do for the low light shooting being that bit brighter, although I'll be using lots of flash too, with the usual grids and gels. Oh the joys of it all...
Today I was commissioned to shoot the main street of my village and last night the outdoor seating area of a local restaurant. Nether of these two things are my usual work but happy to have something paid at last. I won't bore you with the images

Some of the commissions I did in 2019, I really miss doing these. All taken with Fuji cameras and lenses of course, a mix the X-T3 & GFX100 in this lot.
